NAVEX Opens Nominations for Annual Customer Excellence Awards

Awards recognize outstanding ethics and compliance, integrated risk management and ESG programs

PORTLAND, Ore.—May 11, 2022NAVEX, the leader in integrated risk and compliance management software, today announced that nominations are now open for the second annual NAVEX Customer Excellence Awards. Recognizing customer excellence across the full range of ethics and compliance, IRM and ESG programs, the award-nomination window is open through July 29, 2022.  Previous award winners include JELD-WEN, Serco Group plc, Global Atlantic Financial Group, Genpact and Fidelity National Information Services.

“Organizations with exemplary risk and compliance programs understand their initiatives make their workplaces healthier and their operations more resilient which translates to real business value,” said Steve Chapman, chief customer officer at NAVEX. “The NAVEX Customer Excellence Awards recognizes customers around the world who are building the most innovative and impactful risk and compliance programs.”

The Customer Excellence Awards acknowledge outstanding program performance among NAVEX customers internationally and by company size in four categories:

Ethics & Compliance – Recognizes the exceptional ability to identify and mitigate risks, provide meaningful insights into corporate culture and drive risk aware decision making through E&C programs.

Integrated Risk Management – Recognizes the exceptional ability to adapt to specific risk landscapes, bring visibility to risk across the organization and use informed data to influence decisions that ultimately make for a more resilient and successful business.

Environmental, Social & Governance – Recognizes organizations’ inclusion of strong ESG-based principles in business goals and decision making, and the capacity to support this alignment with data from across the organization.

GRC Program of the Year – Recognizes the exceptional ability to break down silos across the business to align ethics and compliance, integrated risk management and/or environmental, social and governance initiatives, resulting in a comprehensive risk and compliance management program that provides efficiency and actionable insights.

Submissions will be evaluated and winning programs selected by an expert panel of judges, including Marcia Narine Weldon, Professor at the University of Miami Law School; Carol Williams, CEO & Enterprise Risk Management Consultant, Strategic Decision Solutions; Kyle Welch, Professor, George Washington School of Business; Matt Kelly, CEO, Radical Compliance; Michael Volkov, CEO, The Volkov Law Group; Vera Cherepanova, Ethics Advocate, Consultant, Author, Studio Etica; Carrie Penman, Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, NAVEX; Karen Alonardo, VP, ESG Solutions at NAVEX; and Stephen Chapman, Chief Customer Officer, NAVEX.

Winners will be announced at the 2022 NAVEX Next Global Virtual Conference in late September 2022. All NAVEX customers are eligible for the awards and encouraged to submit their nomination by July 29, 2022, at https://www.navex.com/en-us/company/navex-customer-excellence-awards-2022/.
