Position Summary:

NAVEX is seeking a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer, Technical Analyst to help us innovate and accelerate development of our SaaS offerings in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).  You will be working with the Architecture team planning and guiding delivery of tools and infrastructure that enables our integrated NAVEX One Platform and related teams.  You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align roadmaps, prioritize requirements and participate in features, security, scalability, and infrastructure activities and keep the teams focused on delivering what matters most.

What You Will Do:

• Help identify and prioritize opportunities for solving important challenges within the NAVEX One platform

• Manage the Architecture and Bedrock backlog to ensure the team has have the most significant impact in collaboration with, Architects, DevOps and Developers

• Promote the adoption of modern approaches to platform engineering to create cloud-native applications in AWS 

• Facilitate and support all of the Architecture team events 

• Understand the needs of feature teams and product managers to craft a Technical Product Platform that delivers cross-cutting capabilities, improves developer productivity, and accelerates adoption of the Platform

• Work with our Architecture and development teams in documenting standards and building reference implementations that enable other teams to consume Platform capabilities quickly and effectively, maximizing their productivity 

• Resolve team issues and remove impediments 

• Evangelize the value of a platform approach across the product and engineering teams to drive adoption 

What You Will Need:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college 

• 2+ years’ experience in a software project management role

• Experience as a Product Owner / Technical Analyst supporting technical projects is highly desired 

• Experience in an Agile, continuous delivery software development environment 

• Experience in JIRA or other project management tools 

• High tolerance for ambiguity, an openness to change and a willingness to take informed risks 

• Motivated to promote a culture of continuous improvement  

• The ability to work cross-functionally to solve business problems and meet business goals 

• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with technical and development stakeholders 

• Ability to influence others to understand the value of the technical platform and invest in moving the platform forward 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to engage and collaborate with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds

• Each team member is required to have a career plan in place and reviewed with their manager after six months with our team.

• The minimum starting pay for this role is $95,000.

• Pay progression is based on performance.
